The second day of BCR Sport Arena Streetball 2025 started with a challenge: unpredictable weather. But streetball doesn’t stop — it adapts.
When rain made outdoor play impossible, we quickly relocated the tournament to the gyms of Sfântul Andrei and Adrian Păunescu Middle Schools, ensuring that every scheduled game went on without delay.
Luckily, by 3:00 PM, the sun made a comeback — and so did the vibe. The basin of Drumul Taberei Park filled once again with players, fans, and the unmistakable sound of basketballs bouncing on court.
Courts Full, Crowd Pumped
Outside the competition courts, all activity zones came back to life instantly — fans returned to the games, challenges, and energy that make this festival special. Meanwhile, on the courts, things were heating up. The elimination rounds intensified, and not long after play resumed, we saw the first finals of the weekend.

Finals Highlights – Day 2
🏆 U10 Final
The first title of the day — and the only one that went to overtime — saw Team G.O.A.T. edge out Watermelon Squad 6–5. Even more impressive? G.O.A.T. played with only three players, all first-timers in a SAS event!
🏆 U12 Boys Final
Cavalerii Mingii took the crown 8–4 against The Chill Guys — also with just three players! Their standout? Matei Apriutesei, last year’s U12 national champion.
🏆 U14 Boys Final
The brilliantly named SKIBIDIENII went undefeated all tournament. Their toughest game? The final — a solid 14–9 win over Prison Break.
🏆 U16 Girls Final
Last year’s U14 champions, Raina Stănescu and Irina Mitric, teamed up with Ana Coțovanu and Emma Berbecaru to win again — this time at U16, with a 6–3 victory over P.R.I.M.E.
🏆 U18 Boys Final
In a field of 21 teams, Steaua bounced back from an opening overtime loss to Frații Voința (16–14). The rematch came in the final, and this time Steaua claimed revenge and the trophy — 18–12.
🏆 U21 Girls Final
The team with the longest name — Sperantamoareultima — lived up to the moment, defeating Na situație 14–8.
🏆 U12 Boys High-Scoring Final
Only one team hit the 21-point mark in a final today: Bujorii Aurii, who stunned favorites Be le le le in a thrilling 21–18 finish. The game started with high intensity and didn’t let up.
🏆 U21 Boys MVP Moment
After two second-place finishes last season, Ștefan Herea finally broke through. He clinched his first U21 title and earned the title of Horizon Rising Star MVP.
